Just purchased a 2005 America (green) with 650 miles. Sold a H-D softail because it was a hog and I think I made the right decision. Previous owner of the Triumph installed D&D Megaphone Esxhaust, 125 main jets and pilot jets. This bike screams but I am not familiar enough to know if the sounds I'm hearing when I let off on the throttle (blub, blub, blub, blub...) is normal and not damaging engine. I use to have a 66 FORD Pickup that made the same sounds but exhaust manifold was loose from engine... Any info. would be appreciated.
