These look to me like a good, more economical alternative to footboards. Do they support the entire foot? Easy to install? and finally, any specific part number to ask for? Thanks for yalls comments

I've been considering this too, not sure about the support stuff, but I think that if you call Ma's cycles directly they will make sure you have the right part and adaptors.

I have them and they look and work great. They do support the whole foot. However, the Triumph footpeg adapters from Kuryakyn have a slight problem. They are cone shaped and smooth. If you mount the Switchblades without knurling the adapter with a chisle the Switchblades will slip and rotate. Kuryakyn knows of this problem and they will tell you to take a cold chisle and knurl the cone part of the adapter. I did that and they don't move at all. Kuryakyn is working on an improved adapter for the Switchbalde but the Triumph adapter is a low priority.

A similar alternative would be the Kuryakyn Duallys with the stirrups(heel rest). These look a lot more sturdy. The switchblades are a good idea, but during an 80 MPH bu++ relief session, I'd hate to put my 230 pounds on that little heel piece. I believe our part numbers for this would be: Adapter #8840 Duallys #7963 Stirrups #4028 Duallys + stirrups #8062 Check with your dealer or Kuryakyn to make sure. Dennis

I agree with Dennis. The Switchblade heel rest isn't made to hold a lot of weight. It's just made to support your heels on long rides.
