Hi Adey - I had a mate in the UK with a brand new deuce - first time he washed it the chrome came off the handle bars.
When he took it back to the dealer they said it was because he had not used Harley Davison brand bike wash! My mate who is not known for his mild temper had a little word with the salesman and explained a few facts of life. The salesman turned a very pale shade of white, annd had his bars re-chromed unnder warranty.
You will find him in the Griffin in Heald Green Sunday lunch time - just ask for Garry (Prince Albert Gary - NOT Garry Two dogs, Gary two dogs knows nothing about Harleys)
