I recently obtained a set of TOR short pipes. Nicer sounding than stock but still pretty tame. So, I removed the back 2 1/2" plate and the small 2" tube. Sounds alot throatier, but what I'm left with inside is the fiberglass packing and what looks like a long 1" wide perforated tube. Any advice on how to take this even further. Any help would be greatly appeciated.

I can at least tell you that you can modify the TOR shortys to be completley open. It's been a while, but I was able to pull out all of the packing, get rid of the perforated pipe and knock out the front plate. As I remember it, nothing real special other than brute force...pulling out the packing made it more obvious.
