they are "upside down" under the carbs, recessed in one of the few accessible holes in the carb itself. Almost have to go by feel. Probably need a D tool too.

Dude seriously. Did you even look around this site? There is mass info everywhere. Let me go find a couple links to help. For starters, under the carbs and sometimes they are covered with a plug that needs drilled out. Whay year is your bike? I'll be back.

http://www.dinqua.com/Triumph/carbs10.htmlHere is the page with a picture of the screw. Note: the screw may be covered with a plug. If so it needs drilled and pulled out. It's best to start at the begining of Pat's site and get up to speed on all this. So click the "back to main carb page" link and check it out. Enjoy.

The 05s all use the D tool so the screw will not be covered with a plug. But you will need the tool to adjust them. Brent sells them, or you can make one with a short piece of brake tube stuff by gently tapping one side flat. You can also pull them right out and hacksaw a slot in them so a regular screwdriver works from now on. Be careful with the little o-rings if you do pull them all the way out.
A word to the wise is not necessary. It is the stupid ones who need the advice.

Now as for the beer.. Where'd it go?
Heck. Mr. Lloyd, I'll even send you my D tool for free if you need it.

Wolfman, Was there a Plug? Did you need a D tool? Or did you get lucky and have no plug and just needed a flathead?
