I believe it is time to put a stop to all this childish bickering. Yes this started out as a HD forum and yes Dave was threatened by HD with a lawsuit unless he made some changes. As a request from some members, metric , Buell and Victory forums were added. In respect to those members, bashing will not be allowed here. If it is your intent to take that route, do it in an open forum (off topic or general talk). If a rider of one of the above mentioned bikes takes it upon themselves to bash HD or any other bike, then take that to an open forum. Keep the specific threads as they were intended."

Looks like to me at one time this Harley forum had a hard time with people bashing other brands so they had to put up a sticky to get people to stop.

I'm only pointing out this post to refute your contention that on Harley boards they don't bash other brands. To me it's no big deal if you do or not, as long as it's in good taste and meant to be humorous. Like I said before, a lot of the guys I ride with have Harleys and there's always some friendly digs at each other's rides.
