You are so right on all the above about South Dakota. I remember being on a twisty road heading to an area that "Dances with Wolves" was filmed and I noticed a stream running along the hill road. I stopped and took off my boots and waded in one of the clearest streams I have ever seen. I seriously thought about buying property and moving out there.
