It has been suggested more than once over the last year or so about a national (U.S.) BA.com rally. Weeelllllll... what are we waiting for... Lets start planning.
Here is my suggestion.... Somewhere near Mt. Rushmore. Early June 2007.

I thought there was a rally... I thought it was in a little town called Dahlonega where the Sparks flowed freely in the econolodge parking lot and the incredible roads went on forever....... I was looking for a more central location and came up with this.... Lebanon, KS. Maybe Mt Rushmore isn't such a bad idea.

That'll work for me.... But are there any decent riding roads in across the line in that part of Kentucky? Cause Indiana sucks.

Finally someone got the inference!
Just for grins, I put a map of the US in a rectangle and bisected it both ways to see what that would produce. Crude, yes and it produced SE Kansas as 'the spot' All I know about there is flat, straight roads and cornfields!
I REALLY like the idea of a USA BA.com rally for 2007. So now we need some criteria. Like geographics, terrain, places to stay, etc. Let's do this people!

More like bi-national!
One more criteria. Cannot conflict with either the GA or NorEast Rallies!

Probally somewhere near the midwest, that way one coast doesnt have to drive all the way across the county, we just need to find a place with so good roads.
Any suggestions??

Looks like early June would work great. I have never been to South Dakota, but dont they have mountains and hills there? Looks like it would be about the same distance from the Northeast Coast as it would be from the Northwest Coast and the same distance from Southern California as it would be from Florida.

As long as their isn't one of those other rallies going on at the same time, SD might be an ok idea.

How about Colorado? A little farther west than you east coasters would probably prefer, but they have some great roads.

I'm with Stewart. The Ozarks would be an awesome place to do this. It's just a litte bit southeast of Phil's very accurately calculated center of the US. I've never been there but have heard the Ozark mountains are supposed to be awesome. Here is an idea of the roads to be found out there:
Motorcycleroads.com - Arkansas
The area is used to having tourists so finding someplace to stay should be pretty easy. Don't we have a member in Little Rock? The name escapes me at the moment. Anyhow, this would be pretty centralized. Good riding. I'm sure we can find a case or two of Sparks somewhere along the way.
It's ALL good!
Ride On!

Colorado sounds good. The Ozarks may be nice, but may be quite a bit too far for us on the west coast. It's never too far to ride, but getting that much time off to make the trip is another story. I could get to Denver in two days. Prob four days to get to Arkansas.
