Well I do agree. A chopper is a chopper at some point. Although you do see some that are so radical in their nature that they obviously are for nothing more than crusing in a straight line back and forth on a boulevard. Most radical chopppers lose handling and stability compared to a more aerodynamically correct motorcycle in my estimation. ( I am no expert here)


I have probably watched only 10 or 15 of their episodes most recently the military themed bikes they made that were aired on the Miltary channel.

They do subcontract a lot of the work out but the basic design work is pretty much done in house it seems. They combine the same "We have to meet a deadline" scenario with intertribal familial argument that is mostly for show I believe and put it all on film.

Some episodes are better than others. The Teutuls are surely making money hand over foot ...a lot from the TV show and to a lesser degree selling bikes at high prices to people who can afford an OCC chopper.
