I don't mean to get into a big oil battle. I swear.. But I sure noticed a difference all the way around when I went to Mobile V-Twin fully synthetic 20W-50.
Get that 10W-40 out of your bike! Our rpm's are way too much for this water. And kiss the majority of that clicking/ticking noise goodbye.
Unless you ride in the snow, then maybe 10W-40 would be appropriate huh?



I disagree, you run what you like but the low number is more critical than the high number. If you'd like I can send you the motor oil bible. You may want to read why or when you should or shouldn't be running 20W in your bike. Most wear occurs at startup and the low number gives better retention and startup protection. PM me with your email and I'll the motor bible PDF. It's very long but you can skim through and then make your own judgement.
