The LED globes you've put in your console can be plugged in either way, but that's not what the isolation diodes are for. (Your globes have some tricky electronics in them to do that btw, one day I'll figure out how they do it.)
If you have LED globes in your turn signals then the console warning light will turn left or right into 4 way "hazard" flashers, regardless of wether the console light's a traditional globe or an LED one. The diodes & extra earth wire are to stop left & right bleeding across the warning light. Have a look much earlier in this thread for my explanation (including circuit digarams) of why this happens.
