AS a service to all that seem to really get worked up anytime George W. is brought up. I would like to start a thread ... LETS BLAME GEORGE...it is meant to be humorous and relieve stress among some of our more angry types but I bet it won't take long before it turns into the same old crap. I'll start... I blame George for Dusty Baker not being fired yet

We all know he was responsible for Hurricane Katrina.
We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

That okay gimpy!!!
I hear tell that ol' Dubya's got THE PERFECT PLAN for you long suffering Cub fans!!!!(don't cha just HATE those "upstart" BOSOX, now that THEY finally won FOR ONCE recently?!)
You see, with his "insightful" management skills, evidenced by all those TEXAS RANGER championship pennants proudly flying over the Lone Star state, he "figures" that all Dusty's got ta do is trade for this kid Bonds that seems to be setting all them there records out there in that hotbed o' liberalism, a.k.a. Kalifornia!(where those nasty "un-american" types live, ya know)
Cheers,
Dwight

(AND...DON'T FORGET: 1945 WAS a good year for Chicago...but NOT for Berlin, o' course)

Ahemmm. Well, I have it from a flawless source that George Dubya Bush mandated that catch from a fan a few years back in the playoffs when the Cubs fans THOUGHT they had a chance. George did it no doubt. According to my source Cindy Sheehan. Although I expect that since the Cubs have sucked for a millenium that the lefties may have some difficulty making this charge credible. Certainly the loyalty and credibility of this vile Cindy Sheehan must be brought forth for all to see.? In his defense (Georges) we must note collusion by the other side of the aisle. John Kerry voted for the Cubs before he voted against them...thus muddying the waters of rightious indignation amongst the tried and true loyal conservatives. So much so that the Swift Boat Veterans for Cubs Truth had to expose him. its a true neocon effort to bring down an established icon of old Americana.... And the Cubs.

All the rain we rode in last weekend in New Hampshire. John Kerry said, "If I was President it wouldn't have rained." Definetly GWs fault. I tell ya, I anin't never voting for him again!! Tongue in cheek guys, don't get this thread carried away.

Does this happen to have something to do with the stem cell veto? Would advances in stem cell science reduce the relative instance of "overly hairy back" sydrome?
I always thought this was a purely hereditary indication.
Maybe Karl Rove knows?

The Trib doesnt want the Little Bears to ever be winners ( as though they ever could be ), the "lovable loser" thing brings in too much money. Who would care if they ever would win? Then the goofy Cub fans would demand a ballpark that isnt falling down on them.

So, This guy from Chicago dies. He goes to Hell. Lucifer meets him and says "welcome to Hell,BWAHAHAHAHA." The Chicagoan says, "I'm from the south side a Chicaga, you can't break me". So Ol' Scratch puts him in a room and turns up the heat. After a few hours he checks in and the Chicagoan is shadow boxing. "Just like Chicaga in July", he says. So Beelzebub says, "So that's how it is huh? Well let's just add a hundred percent humidity!!!" A few hours later, the Devil looks in, and the dude is playing basketball. "Just like Chicaga in August!" Well, Satan has had enough and says, "So he likes the heat huh? Let's see how he feels about a FREEZING BLIZZARD BWAHAHAHAHA". So on comes the snow, sub-zero temperatures, and too many feet of snow to count. So after a couple of hours of this, the Prince of Darkness looks in and to his amazement the Chicagoan is laughing, jumping and cheering, "THE CUBS WON THE SERIES, THE CUBS WON THE SERIES".
