I like the way it looks from the saddle. I just never really liked it much from the side veiw or from the front of the bike. I guess to me it looked like a bit of an afterthought. Then again, maybe I was just looking for an excuse to remove it. It seems I'm always looking for ways to remove stuff that doesn't absolutely have to be there. If the unit is doing a poor job of it's intended function, it makes it easier for me to justify getting rid of it.
Probably if it had been accurate I wouldn't have been so quick to ditch it. I'm liking the way the bike looks without now. It kinda has that "less is more" look.
