Did a slight detour, but got back ok, with regard to the general discusion,could'nt agree more, think it's a good idea to have a few regular venues, one up north,one in the midlands, and try and find one down south. It's not a big country, so three or four hours riding is no real sweat, to get somewhere. I'm sure for the most of us the journey there and back is just as enjoyable, as being at the destination, in the presence of fine and diverse company, with some fine and diverse ales/countryside, thrown in for good measure.
