Soren, one idea for a knob would be to go to an antique auto swap meet ( or even an old junk yard, if they let you scavenge at 'em like I remember them letting us do as kids ), and see if any old dash knobs would be unique enough and work. Some of the old cars got pretty fancy, and in fact some reproduction stuff may work too.
