Got my wife a used 04 America, came with Sceptres. They look nice, seem to be great quality. Too loud for me. Don't get me wrong I like loud, but I like to be able to control the loudness. Not too loud when next to a cop or late at night in the neighborhood, but loud with just a twist of the wrist. I couldn't seem to do that with the Sceptres - they are just always loud. The Epco's on my Speedmaster sound great and I can control the volume. When riding with a group, they want the America in the back of the pack, as the loudness gets annoying after a while.

Team Triumph have both 1-1/2" and 1" baffles that fit in the ends of the pipes using a existing bolt hole. $100. Recieved the 1-1/2" in 4 days. Sounds great. Not ear splitting and I can control the loudness with my wrist. Cool.

I can speak for the 1 inch baffles from TeamTriumph. They really quieted things down, but still have the low rumble. They are easily removed for those days when I really want to be heard.

Can you order them already inserted? I've been reading that they are going to offer a "tuning" mod... is this what they are talking about?

I'm sure they would ship them to you installed, but it is unneccessary. They slip right in, and yes these are the tuned inserts they say are coming soon on the website.
