I can only speak for the Corbin. The Corbin does feel "hard" when first sitting on it, but the firmness provides a lot of comfort. I know some have put more miles than I on trips, but I did take a 4800-5000 mile trip last summer with the Corbin. I rode 500 miles a day easy, and my long day was about 750. My backside was tired at the end of the day, but unlike the stock seat I was ready to sit in the saddle the next morning. I could barely ride with the stock seat a 150 miles a day without the burn lasting for several days.
