Went to a ride in bike show yesterday with a couple of my Harley riding buddies . It was sponsored by the Road Dawgs MC.,and benefited MDA. there was also bikini bike washing , a burnout contest, a loudness contest, measured with a decible meter. A guy with a Vulcan won the burn out contest, he popped his tire in 4th gear. A custom Harley won the loudness contest at 124 dec.,followed by a Victory at 118. I didn't enter my bike but officers of the clubs present were walking around judging bikes for the bike show, just as we were getting ready to leave, a guy came around asking who owned certain bikes, a full on custom hardtail springer with a 113" s@s motor, a 1965 Harley dresser and "the" Triumph, we were asked to pull our bikes out to be further judged, I won 2nd place to the $40,ooo custom, I won a $50 gift certificate from a local custom mc shop and a support your local road dawgs T-shirt, the winner won a gift certificate and a 3 ft. trophy. I dont know how he'd get the trophy home so I'd rather have the T. After I won people started asking the usual ?, like how much, when i told them its comparsble to an 883 in price they couldn't believe it. I guess I will have to start entering some of these shows just to see what i can win. The guy who won the burnout contest won $200 for tire at a local shop and the loudness winner won a stay for 2 in Montreal. And the bikini bike wash,I FORGOT MY CAMERA

Stone, is that pic that FJ put up your bike? If it is, let me say that that is a REAL nice looking bike, and I can see why you won with it.

That is a nice looking machine. I particually like the rear footpeg holder/bracket. So much nicer looking that the stock part. Must say, that is one fast looking machine. Must have something to do with the color Oh im sorry, lets not go there again.

Stone, GREAT lookin' bike! I agree with JB. I didn't think having a color matching frame would look that cool....but it DOES!!! Cheers, Dwight
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)
