Just sent Corbin's sales department an Email. Don't know if it will help but I let them know that with all the free advertising we give them on this site that we can also take away a lot of business by bad press too. Keith , hope you and Mikemn find an alternate that is just as good. The Corbin is a great seat, it is crazy for them to increase the price that much. Here is the copy of the Email, I was nice to them Keith maybe I shouldn't have been so nice!

To the Corbin Customer Service Staff,

I am writing this in behalf of a friend of mine Keith who would like to buy your seats for his Triumph Bonneville America but you have doubled your prices.
I understand that gas prices have gone out of sight but to increase the price of your seats to almost double the price you had in April is just crazy. There are a lot of us at Bonneville America.com web site that have purchased your seats and are very happy with them. I can't say enough about the comfort of the Corbin saddle.
My friend Keith saw my seats in May 06 at our Georgia Rally and he was going to order them but can't justify the $800. plus shipping for leather seats. I paid $551 including shipping for both the Riders saddle and the Pillion for my 05 Triumph America. I think he is going elsewhere to find an equivalent seat of the Corbin.
Your company gets a lot of free Advertising from us on the BA.com web site and I am sure the Harley riders and Honda riders just to name a couple will also agree about the free advertising.
My suggestion to your sales department would be to find some other way to recoup your losses for the gas crunch instead of sticking it to your customers. You are going to lose a lot of business, News travels fast through the different biker web sites. You have a great product, don't ruin your reputation by making your prices outrageous.
