Triumph Motorcycles. Expressing Individuality...Mile After Mile. OR Triumph...The Cruiser for the Cognoscenti. Cheers, Dwight (yeah okay! So most Harley riders WOULD have to look that last word up. SO WHAT?!!!)
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Lot of good stuff here. I'm sure Triumph paid plenty good $$$ to have a marketing firm do the research, and after all of this, I have to agree.
"GO YOUR OWN WAY" sums up what we are all trying to say. It's says it right, it's to the point, it's short enough (4 words), and EVERYONE knows what it means. It leaves just a bit of mystique about it all that's just enough to intrique those that don't fully understand it.
I might not want to tat that on my body anywhere, but gives me all the more reason to believe the single word "TRIUMPH", or even the "T" in the triangle tat would get the whole point across entirely on it's own.
GO YOUR OWN WAY
WE are all going OUR own way. Together. (Because we know.)

Yeah, I like that, too. It's on the back of my Triumph Ball Cap, and I like that statement as much as the logo on the front. No less true today than it was 50 years ago...

You must be originally from Joisey?
We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

Enough already! We've proven it.. we're too individual to agree on a slogan! Maybe that's what we were getting away from..

Well I'm convinced that Triumph's "Go your own way!" fits more than ever, especially after reading this thread.

Oh Yota, That's good, really good. How about a scriptural twist from Matthew 7:6 (NewKingJames)?
Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine , lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces.
Well, we can leave out the part after the hogs, where they trample pearls and tear you up. So, riding a Triumph is a spiritual act.
Ride Safe,
Dennis
Triumph, it's how I live and what I ride.

When you want to stand out! Ride a Triumph. We know that all others just look alike.
I was so much older then, I am younger than that now (Wrote By Dylan Sung by the BYRDS,)
