I used a jigsaw to trim mine. I put lotsa masking tape on the front side, then drew my line to be cut on the masking tape. The masking tape keeps the window from scratching when you run the jigsaw over it. I cleaned up the edge with a file and some fine sandpaper afterwards. It turned out really well, even though I kinda rushed through it.
