How long can you expect a set of exhaust pipes to last? I am thinking about buying a used set of D&Ds and want to make sure they hold up for a while. I think they have about 8000 miles on them.

I would guess it all depends on how well they have been taken care of. I would also dare to say that the biggest thing to shorten the life of pipes (If taken care of, they could last almost forever) would be moisture, salt and dirt causing corrosion inside and out.

I ran the same aftermarket pipes on my old Ironhead for 20 years and they wer used when I got them.
