Ha... at first read I thought you (LJ3000) had a typo & were tryin to be funny & meant pee... then I actually used my brain.
The prospect of doin the polishing myself really ain't gonna happen & the need for possible more work later leads me to feel that I'll be looking into getting them chromed & then if any place that does polishing has any suggestions regarding any kind of sealer to eliminate the need for reworking the parts down the road.
FYI - anyone who may be interested in doin similar things... I work in the fastener industry & have already asked my production guys that deal with platers to get me some info on local ppl who have the ability to chrome things as big as the rims...
