you can generally go 1 size up without any trouble...that would mean a 180 on the rear, and a 120 on the front...remember those are the just the tire WIDTH numbers. There's also a HEIGHT to consider ie 120-90 or 110-80. This is then a descriptor of the tire's profile, ie wide and low or narrow and high for example. This can lead to clearance problems even if the tire fits the rim.

I run a stock 170 Avon on the rear and went up a size from a 110-80 to a 120-90 on the front. In that case the width increase is only 10 mm, that's 5mm per side, but the height difference is 20 mm! 25.4 mm = 1 inch...and I did have clearance issues to deal with.

I believe some may be running a 130 on the front, and I think there may be a couple with a 180 rear. Perhaps they'll chime in with their opinions.
