They would have my full backing if they were to make product liability include politicians. Then, every time they pass a stupid law without thinking about what the end results might be, the people could sue the pants off them.

Here's another:

Oh good god. I hope you aren't that dumb.
If you really want to know why oil prices are so high, look at the numbers for Chinese oil demand 10 years ago vs. today.
Nah, never mind. You'll just whine about it being the President's fault.

Hey Tom, Holy crap! I just did a Google on "Chinese oil demand" and there are dozens of articles on their increasing demand (for India too). Boy, this is gonna' suck in a few years, eh? Well, maybe not. I may have to ride Raven a lot more!! But you do realize that everything that has happened in the last 50 years and will happen in the next 50 (in the world) is a direct result of GW being president? After all, he is an evil Republican!!

Hey Phil
Glad that this law was not in place when I was on my trip as I would still be trying to get out of FL! Or would there be special dispensation for tourists spending thousands of $?

OK people, keep it civil. One reason I like this forum is that it (generally) doesn't degenerate into the kinds of exchanges that are common on other forums.
I've thought for years the Democrats are a most destructive force in this country and now I am nearly as unhappy with my own party, the Republicans. Niether party has the will or incentive to place curing our great country's ills above padding their own nests. I really believe the founders would be incredibly sad to see what has happened over the past few decades. Personal responsibility and self reliance...all but gone. Yes, China is beginning to stir and you can bet she'll be eating EVERYONES lunch someday.

China is Volkswagen's largest growing market, they are already eating our lunch!! The company I used to work for had a TON of stuff made in china, and you know we sold a lot of it to our government too, but all we had to do was mark it up enough so that 70% (or whatever the number is) of the cost came from the US to meet the made in usa quota...
