I use a 1 1/4" O-ring between the Handle bar grip and the kill swithch housing. Cost me 49 cents. can't remember the thickness maybe 3/32 or so. just enough for a bit of extra friction. Used it on my last trip to southern California for 2800 miles, worked very well.
