They told me that the BrakeAway unit for my 2005 Triumph America is the model #6CB03-04. 3 adjustments on the back bar that braces the unit. By the time you get the last adjustment torqued down the throttle is binding. Worked on it 4 hours one day 1 hour the next. They took it back with no problems. Glad about that because its $200.
I next contacted the people from VistaCruise. $39.95. A friend of mine put one on his Kawasaki 800 v twin. It works fine. And the price is right. But,,,,they don't make one to fit our America/Speedmaster. I'm in the process right now of trying to get them to make a model for us. I told them we have over 3800 members not counting bike owners that are not board members.
Now to the third option. The Throttlemeister looks promising. That's the one that goes on the end of the grip. It's around $150. I tried to contact them but as of yet they don't answer their emails.
