This conversation makes me wonder if my 35mm CRS carbs might actually serve to limit the maximum power my engine can develop once it comes out of the dealership. Before my oil pump gear failure, I already had cams, free-flowing pipes, and the K&N pod filters; now that the bike will have the 904 big bore and the intakes match-ported to the head, I wonder if perhaps I should consider the 37mm CRS carburetor set-up. I couldn't afford to do this anytime soon, but it does give me something to ponder!
