You are right-on re: the daily "thunder-boomers" - I just try to avoid being on the road around 4 to 5 PM.
My family owned places in Naples from 1970 to 2003 - talk about change! During season (now), there are too many Q-tip cagers on the roads; but off-season, Naples is still a great place to chill out for a long weekend.
