Slug is correct - our highest elevation by far, here in S. Florida are the landfills! And beginning in June, there are thunderstorms almost daily around 4-6PM for 4 months. But I figure that is a small price to pay for being able to ride next to the Atlantic (or Gulf) 350+ days per year (excluding those pesky hurricanes!) Though I must admit when I was riding in Wyoming last year, I had to keep remembering to shut my mouth - I was in awe of the mountains! I wonder if those of you who have mountains to look at (& ride around!) ever get used to them? I know I still appreciate seeing the ocean everyday. What a country, huh?
