Great dealings with Palm Beach Triumph.

I won an E-Bay auction on an New Speedmaster Rear Fender. When it arrived the clear coat was all smudge up, from what I thought was saddlebag use. I thought my New fender I bought was really used. I had a painter buff out the marks and he actually thought the smudges were from the packing materials used in shipping. The painter stated that he thought the fender was "darn near new".

Marnie at Palm Beach Triumph was very quick to resolve the issue for me when I took delivery and discovered the smudges. She gave me money back to pay for the buff job.

Now that's what I call service. It was nice to deal with Palm Beach Triumph.

To tell you the truth, i think Marnie IS the good in whats good about that place. i've ordered a number of things from them, and when i've dealt with her it's always been great. fast shipping and low shipping prices. But i've dealt with others there too and the prices/service weren't as good. Just talking to her on the phone you can tell she's a very nice person who's genuinly concerned with you and your order. the other people i've talked to there were no different than any other place and didn't seem concerned about anything but what time they get off work just like employees most anywhere. I really thing she is what makes that place special. And i believe it's because her and her husband are the owners, which i'm not 100% sure of but i thinks thats the sitch. owners always have a lot more interest in customer satisfaction obviously.

OK daz, I hope you understand that I have to take exception to your comments as I personally know both Bob and Marnie Keen. Do I think Marnie is a driving force there? Hell yes. Do you know who is my driving force? You have one guess!

Let me ask you, do you seriously think anything changes by talking to Marnie? Considering that every friggin one of us is tied to supply chains, we are ALL constrained by delivery systems.

huh? That's a line that you need to specifically qualify with documentation or I am calling BS.

NOW you're talking!

I don't buy that and you need to qualify. However, $20 says you talked to Richard. He's the exceptional main mechanic (and does phone work too, ugh). Although a youngster, I trust him implicitly. He knows his sh!te but may not be the best phone guy..

Although I am not in contact with Palm Beach Triumph as much as I'd like, EVERYONE there has treated me better than darn near every vendor out there, even after five years.

Me too! Palm Beach Triumph takes the time to get it right. Not too many places put the mechanic on the phone with you to answer questions from a customer they have never met. Palm Beach Triumph does. Although I have never met Bob nor Marnie, the phone conversations and dealings I have had with them have always been first rate, plus. They are my dealer for parts. The local stealerships aren't even qualified to hold the door for Marnie.

Give PBT a part number and they still look it up to ensure they are sending out the right one. You mentioned shipping. PBT charges us what they get charged to ship products. No stepping on shipping. No handling charges. Just prompt knowledgeable courteous service.

Mind you, 3000 miles and three hours has a way of twisting brain synapses. Pay no attention to the john behind the curtain.

Competition in south florida also helps to keep the cost down for new buyers. Palm Beach sells for less than than Pure-Triumph in Lauderdale and visa versa. Pure-Triumph now has a new 2006 Graphite/Silver America for sale at $6900.00.

That has to be a direct result of Palm Beach and competition.

I can speak to nothing but great and outstanding things about Palm Beach Triumph. There have been two huge additions to the enjoyment of my Triumph and they are both 5 star and they are Palm Beach Triumph and this Web Site.

I finally got the microfiche for the TBA and am wondering if I should order the parts from them. We have a 7% sales tax here and I figure shipping from south Florida would be cheaper than paying taxes. Am I correct in thinking online purchases from another state are void of any sales tax?
I still have a broken bike and $4000+ to spend need to get over it and get to work.
Do I remeber correctly if they have a web site? Anybody got it?

Right no TAX. I know it has been cheaper for me to have them ship me things than to buy them for one of the 2 dealers that I live between. In the spring I got a touring pillion from them it was $106.00 UPS to my door. Both of the dealers wanted $135.00 +tax and I had to drive the 30 miles to get it. I got my clock from them and it was $130.00. I always use them. My gloves listed for $150.00 only $50.00 from PBT, a $225.00 leather Triumph jacket for my girlfriend for $90.00. I only buy from them.

Even though it's a bit of a cruise, I'm hoping that Triumph gives me the thumbs up on front rotor replacement so I can take the bike down there for repair. The local dealer around here is a sham.. I only go there to try on helmets and stuff that I'll be buying somewhere else! I asked for a price on TOR's and was quoted $540 for pipes that have a MSRP of $385!! Unfortunately, they can get away with it as they are the only dealer within several hundred miles and the only motorcycle dealer in the area is Harley.

I've heard nothing but good things about PBT so they will soon start getting my business.

Cheers,
Brad
