And also for the Canada ride, remember that this is a foreign country, not just the next town over. You DO NOT want to get popped for drinking and riding, you WILL go to jail for a long time AND lose your bike. They are deadly serious about this. American currency is accepted everywhere as well and it is roughly about 75¢ American to a Canadian dollar. Gas up an the American side as gas is about $1.50 a PINT in Canada. The ride from Niagara Falls, Ontario, north up to the next bridge (Lewistown?) is also beautiful, right alongside the Niagara River. And if you've never been to the falls, you have never seen a real river yet. Awsome is not even close to describing the hugeness of the rivers/falls and scenery. And watching the tourists is alos a fun time there, you have never seen so many cameras, "clickclickclcikclickclickclickclcikclick" all day, you'll hear what I mean. For those going to the glen, we are still a go and everything seems taken care of, thanks Ryan!. When we get done, we'll grab a bite in town then head back for some tech time and swill drinking. Probably do some additional tech stuff Thursday eve if anyone needs to get ready for the track.

Amazing thing Google Earth. Looks like you have a heck of a spread there for us. Few, if any neighbors to annoy yes? One thought... with live band, 40-50 motorcyclists showing up and the local motel already asking "are you with the rest of the bikers " ... have you greased the local cops yet? Of course, I'll be on my best behavior

Yeah I'm considering the falls trip too. If it is anything close to the museum we went to last year, it would be worth it!

I just got off the phone to Bridgeport Harley Davidson where I've rented a bike for the NorEast.
First person to laugh gets a size 13 boot up their chuff!
I'm getting a 2006 Street Glide
LOL
EDIT:
Just looked again to see if the link works and it's got a cd player!!!

I've got a buddy who's got an older one(Road Glide?), He loves it. It's a pretty sharp looking bike(black), but when he starts it, it looks like the engine is gonna shake itself out of the frame. I bet when you get it out on the highway you'll like it. I guess we'll see. Our own in house HD test rider. I've never ridden one.
BTW, I'm in Norwalk, CT, halfway between Bpt and Stam. My houseboat is right off I95 exit 16. The view from the starboard side is the I95 bridge between exits 15&16. I keep my bike in my mom's(me mum's)garage, which is three blocks from exit 38 RT15(Merrit Parkway).
Here's to hoping we can get together before the Rally!
Cheers, Uncle Charlie

Only a Harley® motorcycle can lay bare this much custom style without compromising comfort. The new Street Glide™ motorcycle. Styling Chief Willie G. Davidson’s fingerprints are all over ... Hmm you'd think for the 20k they charge for the bike they'd wipe the darn fingerprints off first.

Good one Dill!
Check my Ride to NE Rally from CT thread, I'd like to hook up with you NH(and any from MA)guys for the ride to Pat's. So far it looks like Me, John(BigPoppy), and Martin(LJ3000). Let us know, so we can talk about routes, meet-up points, and other details.

Fine.. but if you drop it.. you're picking it up.. while I snicker. Hey, I'm not worried, by the time you get that thing upright, you'll be too exhausted to give chase.

If we do meet up in State College, we'd probably head up north early in the week like Monday or so. Keep in touch Scott and we'll let you know of our plans.

With insurances and tax it's around $160.
Unlimited mileage? That means free gas, right???

Cheaper than Fritz's H-D by about $100.
EDIT:
Just re-read that, I mean for the whole rental, not per day!!

Mark and Matt, I won't be going up until Friday. I plan on leaving about 7:30am and meeting up with everyone at Watkins Glen for Noon. One of my friends might come up just to run the Track. I hope that will be okay? But still stay in touch. Scott

Phun Phacts for a Phunky Monday:
```````````````````````````````
FWIW - Red Carpet Inn (aka Canandaigua Motel) has wi-fi, for those of us tethered to our laptops for remote log ins to put out fires back at work. I booked a room for $63 per night with a triple A discount. Smoking rooms are already booked, but first floor rooms have outside doors to slip out and puff away.
Econo Lodge has no rooms on the 22nd.
Super 8 has no internet service. (Neanderthals!)
Canandaigua is pronounced -
Cannon - day - gwa or Canna - Daygwa, depending upon who pronounces it. I still can't spell it, but copy & paste is my friend.
We now return you to your regularly scheduled programming
Note! The Super 8, I beleive it is the one, does NOT allow alcohol on the premisis! If you guys book rooms, be sure to ask! Grump stayed there a few weeks back and told me this, maybe he'll chime in to be sure which one it was. Never heard of such a thing. And we locals pronounce it, "Can-a-dog-food"  And I have wi-fi at my house if you need it. As does MacGregors and most all of Canandaigua, the entire lake included. We're a high tech town and the city pays for it for business reasons. I also have a computer in the living room anyone is welcome to use as well, with broadband access of course. Maybe I can get a webcam connected so we can have live pix for the unfortunate 2-3 on the site that will not be coming.
