Seems to me that (subject to the layout of the parking spaces) a visit at the start of a 3-day weekend during vacation times, bucket of proper color paint in hand, you could fix the problem yourself. Extending existing spaces worked at my old work place. Creating totally new ones at another nearby location didn't.
