I use a pair of plain black Sidi Gortex boots in the wet and when I was in Arizona in Feb, I got some Durango 'cowboy' boots.
360 miles yesterday and it wasn't particularly warm but they felt great and I wasn't cold - even though the boots aren't lined at all.
