Your facts are correct, but that is beside the point. The cross you use is most likely to be recognized as a symbol of the German military and it strikes me as very wrong to mix that up with the British flag. A bit disrespectful I would have thought.
The swastika is a symbol of peace in some asian cultures, but would certainly not be seen in that light by many of the allies.
Anyway, I don't want to start WWIII, but it in a world where only minorities seem to have the right to be offended, I thought I would raise my objection.

I am sorry that you feel that way. There are many others that do not.
Like Phil said so well, "Just because some lunatic perverted the original design and intent does not mean we have to forever associate the stain with it"
In my opinion, if people get offended it is entirely their problem since there is no offence intended or implied in any way shape or form. The cross stands for valor, protection and loyalty. An since we ride Triumphs, the Union Jack is very appropriate.

the victoria cross is a maltese cross its also the highest military honour in the commonwealth .its all about honour and bravery . i like it, though it would look way better if it was the lion rampant
