Woke up to this Sunday Morning, still cleaning up. The pics kinda suk because they were taken with my phone. Not all was lost, I took the pictures from my bike, which I made sure stayed dry. Whats worse was we were hosting a hot rod show down the road at the local fair grounds and several of the cars were parked in the flooded parking lots around town. We were still putting cars on flatbeds Sunday night. Heres a couple of pics.

11 inches of rain in 8 hours.

Horrible. My Aunt lives in Suburban DC and told us they closed part of the Beltway from the flooding. We have gotten some rain lately, but it would be nice if you would please spare yourself and send some more our way.

Hang In!

Wow, it's raining again calling for up to 4 more inches tonight. Doesn't that cubit thing depend on which arm your using.

Everything I owned went under with hurricane floyd back in 99. It really really sucks. It will get better eventually. Just don't expect any help from fema. Around here neighbors helped neighbors and thats what got us through.

On the bright side, I bet the fishing is great.
Glad to hear you and the bike are safe though.

Well here in Maryland most of our flooding has come to a end and I even saw a couple shots of the sun today. Hope everything works out for you.

Hope everthing is okay. I was complaining about riding in the rain all of the time earlier. Boy I didn't have it bad at all!

Good luck with the clean up man! I have a friend who lives in Bear DE, I wonder if she got flooded... We didn't get flooding up here, but because of all the rain run-off they closed a bunch of beaches due to bacteria. Awesome. Aparently two tidal cycles and we should be ok to swim, yippee! No thanks.

I was on the DC Beltway yesterday, rode past where water covered the road. The debris line on the divider was over the top of my car, maybe about 4' of water! I dumped 8" from my range gauge since Sunday, here in Western MD. Looks like there is about 3" more now.

Thanks everyone. As far as I can tell I don't have any structural damage on any of my buildings. I came home late yesterday evening to find my F-150 buried in mud to the axle beside my lane. Seems the 15 year old was pulling the 13 year old on a modified boogie board behind the truck thru the high water and missed the asphalt. I pulled the truck out with my tractor and put the kids on manure detail. They get to move wet manure from one spot to another and maybe back again just as a reminder not to pi$$ me off.
