My bike's well out of warranty but I've just been approved yet another front rotor as goodwill after only around 1500 mile since last replacement. Nothing too major, but the dreaded pulsing had started to return again. After getting it checked out, dealer reckoned most probable cause is slight wheel buckle but not entirely sure. Can’t recall anything I might have done to cause this though, had a couple of rear shunts in the past but unlikely to effect front wheel I would have thought? Has it been dodgy right from the start...?
Thanks Ray for your mails. They talked to Mark Swepson but doesn’t look like Triumph will honour replacement wheel for me, but at least a new rotor. Getting it fitted next week and hoping it’ll see me through Eurotrip but there's the question of what happens when it goes again... Unfortunately isn’t enough time to get wheel sent off for straightening before I go, was debating ordering new wheel but am a bit reluctant in case it isn’t the cause and am back to square one. Mentioned the question of calliper quality but that was dismissed. Considering EBC disk/ floating setup in the future but am informed will still have problems if wheel is buckled...so I don’t know

Anyway will worry about it when I return...
