Actually you proved MY point. You made baseless charges, offered no examples and failed to answer the obvious point that was made. Like a mugger who is outraged when he is beaten up by an intended victim, lefties routinely accuse Bush and the Republicans of everything from planning the 9/11 attacks to stealing milk from babies. But, when the ridiculous accusations are exposed as not only false but slanderous, they howl in indignation. “How dare you point out my lies, hypocrisy and slanders. That is a personal attack and an assault on my character.” When the party of James Carville, Michael Moore and Al Franken complains that they are the victims of character assassination it fairly reeks of hypocrisy.

Fascinating. UM, what baseless charges would these be that you're referring to, Larry?
I've never accused the Bush administration of planning 9/11 or stealing milk from babies (though we could explore that one), and your implication that I did is nothing but a lie. Exactly what I expect. (Seesh, talk about HYPOCRISY).
My references were to the usual way (which you are exemplifying yet again) of avoiding discussion of any issue where you hold no moral high ground by diverting the debate to, oh let's see....Michael Moore, Al Franken, Jane Fonda, whomever. They are irrelevant.
Re-read my original post to which you responded. My reference was to the typical way in which a decorated combat veteran is slandered by the right wing, because they know how dangerous he is to their agenda. That's what the swift boat liars were all about. Kerry is a decorated veteran, Bush and Cheney both avoided service in Vietnam through deferments and family connections. The same thing that the right criticized Bill Clinton for. It was therefore necessary to defame John Kerry in order to counter the obvious advantage that he had in that area. I thought my implication would be obvious to all but the most doltish.
And don't get me wrong, the Democrats have done their fair share too. Robert Bork and Clarence Thomas come to mind. See, now you don't even have to think, I did it for you.
You want to discuss issues? GREAT! You want to call names? Grow up.
