Hi, I have just joined BONNEVILLEAMERICA.com, so I am picking your brains. I have ordered a new Bonne America and collect it next Saturday. I want to fit long and loud exhausts straight away. I have seen the Triumph catalogue and wondered if I could do better than the £250 quoted by them. Can anybody recommend a UK supplier or manufacturer.

There are a very limited number of exhaust suppliers for the BA based in the UK. I don't think you'll find the TORs cheaper anywhere else, unless you can do a deal with your dealer. They do come up on ebay from time to time, so worth keeping an eye on that.

The other option is to consider drilling the baffles (some or all) out of your standard exhausts. Search this forum for info on how to do this. You may want to get hold of a spare set of standard exhausts as well, for MOT time. Again, ebay is the best place IME.

Many places will import exhausts if you ask them. Grzegorz (in the UK) on this forum has some Epcos. I believe he ordered them from the US.

Oh, and hi - maybe see you on one of the UK rides. Where do you live?

Another option is to source some second hand pipes and remove a baffle or two!

Pretty easy to do, good sound and if you keep the originals, you can put them back on for the MOT.

Let us know where you're based, it's always helpful for us to know these things when giving advice out.

My speedmaster has reverse-megaphone style pipes from an outfit called Decibel, which had a made in England stamping on them. They have a removable baffle core, and I believe are packed with Steel Wool (or at least mine were) They are a little on the loudside when the baffling is burned off and only the cores are remaining.

I'm probably selling my Raasks. Check out Gregorz' link and PM me if interested.
