I was looking at the stainless steel bar end caps for sale on New Speedmaster and they gave me an idea for my Speedy. I got two old Two Shilling coins from the 60's, from my coin collection, then drilled and countersunk them and they are a perfect fit for the bar ends. The reverse side of the coins look best. The design Cost me $0 and they are totally unique and fit the bike because they are British. Half Crowns are a little larger but will also fit. I would post a picture, but according to the forum instructions I would have to have a web page.

I took this photo but it did not come out very good because it was too dark in my garage (night time) and when I used the flash it washed out the image. This photo will give you an idea of what it looks like, and I can try to take a better photo tomorrow during the day time.
I edited this post and this is a better photo.

That's really very cool, and as you say very appropriate being British. At this rate you might be able to start charging to send shillings all over the place. Matt

Great idea. I just installed Superbars and stuck plastic plugs from a 10-speed in there for now.
