Skillet, Just a long time habit of closing the petcock when I park it for the day. Do a search and you will find several guys who ended up with a puddle of gasoline on the floor in the morning. Needle valve on carb leaked thru a little. That's the only thing holding back 4 gallons of gas. Been there.
