I've spoken to the Dealership that has my Speedmaster during my oil pump gear woes, he understands my desire to make lemonade out of the lemons, and do upgrades to the powerplant while it's in pieces. That being said, I'd appreciate any input on things to do that I wouldn't ordinarily have the opportunity to do.

Things that have come to mind so far:

1) Match-porting the carburetor intakes to the head
2) Big Bore Kit
3) Upgrade the clutch springs

Any other ideas or suggestions?
