God, can this place be any worse when it comes to getting your order pulled and shipping it? Maybe; I guess.
I ordered online early on Monday (hoping to at least get my package for the weekend) I had to call them 2 days later because I hadn't recieved a tracking number etc. Only to find they hadn't even pulled my order yet. Then they say it's going out that day and it would be shipped priority. Well needless to say, these lazys shipped it ups ground (the slowest in the world). So, I should get my package by next year. Well, really, not until Monday.
It just seems like in these days, this is something I should expect from an e-bay purchase not from a "renouned" store.
Ok, I feel a 'Lil better now.
If anyone from Ma's is on the forum, call UPS and intercept my package and get it delivered by Friday or Saturday instead. If I had to, I'd pay the shipping difference in order to cover for the inability to handle my order in a timely manner.

Dont feel bad. When I ordered from them they seemed disinterested and I had to call them to get the order going and even then they took a lot longer than necessary.
Perhaps good customer service is not their forte?

The only dealings I've had with Ma's: When I got my crash bars from them I chewed up a couple of mounting bolts and the nutplate (my fault). A call to Ma's had new bolts and nutplate in my mailbox 2 days later, no charge.

I ordered the front signal relocation bracket at the beginnning of april. A week later I called and they said they were getting some back from the chromer (note I had to call them to find out the part was back ordered). Two weeks later I called to check on my order and was told the part was shipped. A week later I called and they told me they would be getting it from the chromer the next day and would ship it right away(apparently the guy that told me it shipped was just being flat dishonest). Two weeks later I called to find out they had no record of my order due to a computer glich, but then they suddenly had my shipping info and order info somehow and they would ship it right away. A few minutes later he called back (Ma's first attempt to contact me during this ordeal) and told me he lost my credit card info and if he could just get the number.... ummmm no. I went to the garage with an angle grinder and a dremel and made the bracket myself! I saved 100 bucks and have a bracket that I am proud of. It looks very similar to their bracket, but I rattle canned mine flat black. It took me an afternoon in my garage what Ma's couldn't do in over a month. I have heard wonderful things about Ma's from others, but my experience was not like theirs.

Sounds like this is their standard practice, which to me makes it just another crap place. They probably wine all day about not making any money but only care about selling new bikes. Screw everything else. If you plan on ordering from them, I would suggest going somewhere else. If you have no choice, get on the phone with them right away and let them know that you know they suck. Tell them I said so! You know who else I think sucks.. The steelers, but thats a shoe-in.

I understand frustration. However as Ma's is just off (1 mile) the route I take once or twice a year, I have stopped in a few times. In my opinion they have a well run small business. The staff is very knowldgeable about all things Triumph and are always cordial when I stop in. I have purchased products in person and on-line. The only times on-line has taken extra time was beyond their control. The timing and my travel plans are such that I will be there again this coming Saturday.
I only wish they were located closer than 1,100 miles from where I live. Sorry your experience hasn't been better.

I wouldn't say people shouldn't ever buy from Ma's. I know many people have had good experiences with them. My experience wasn't too good, but the two or three examples here may just be the exception.

I hear y'all. It just stunk as far as service goes on my end. I just don't feel wanted. Sniffle sniffle. I want my stuff!!! Whaaaaaaa Ok I'm done boo hooing, i just recommend that people verify themselves, with Ma's, that there order was processed. They didn't do crap untill I called and it looks like I am not the first. (and won't be the last) In my frustration, I do realize though, that they do have alot of stuff at Ma's. More than your average store. Also, they have goods for us trumpet players. So I will give them the love they rightfully deserve for that. I'll be all better monday. Thanx y'all for listening. You did have a choice. Sorry Ma's. Next time POW! right in the kisser.

I tried to order the engine crash bars from Ma's after I saw Mert's, and decided the mounting on my Bella Corse ones are just plain flimsey. But, alas, they no longer carry them.

I've bought a lot of stuff from Ma's in the past and have no complaints. Their shipping doesn't compare to Brent's, but his is the exception, not the rule.....

That darn Brent has spoiled us and set a high bar of service and expectation that we want from other companies.

I know Brent set the bar high, but no internet order from a store should take 2 days and a phone call to get it out the door. Then, they didn't even fix the problem with shipping it a little faster. UPS Ground? It could probably get here faster on some sporty... Ouch..

If Ma's sends me mints, they will have reached their expiration when they get here. They'll be all hot and sweaty too. Nasty!

I work for a dealership that uses the same system... actually most dealers use this system. They are "dealer catalogs" provided by the web servicing company called PSN. If you look at the bottom of almost any dealer's website you'll see "Powered by PSN". Just because you see a part in one of these catalogs doesn't mean the dealer has it in stock. It simply means they can get it. If you check Ma's site it probably states that it can take up to two weeks for your order to get to you because of this reason. As far as your order not being processed, they were probably just waiting to charge you until your items came in and were ready to ship. Kind of like when you order something that is on backorder, you generally aren't charged until the item is ready to be shipped. In this instance I don't know if this is definitely the case, but it most likely is.
In the future if you want something immediately, your best bet is to call the dealership ahead of time to make sure the item is currently in stock.
