From all I see around the gain is minimal for the price. But I bought one anyway and will install it myself and let you know. They were on sale for $400. and I like to tinker. The Speedmaster or Ba with minor mods is far from a dog and really doesn't need it. But for the moment this is my passion, my hobby, my therapy. One thing I will say I would have never done it without cams and I am working on that as well.
