Yes, it is true. I am not sure if it is worth $800 (if I remember right).You may be able to get a custom paint job for less than that. However, if you are looking for a second se, it may be cheaper to get the Triumph kit rather than get tank and front fender then have them painted. But the Triumph flame kit isn't bad at at all.
