I have the SS long cannons. To me, the sound is just right maybe just past the "too loud for me" side. (if that makes any sense) Nice deep rumble, the deepest I've heard from a Triumph. You can either remove the packing from the baffles (unwrap some fiberglass) or remove the baffles completely if you really want some noise. I'm very pleased. With the jet kit Dale supplies, the pipes really open this bike up. I had a set of long off-road pipes previously, no comparison to those pipes in sound or performance.
