I got back this week from a 500 mile round trip - mostly all interstate to New Orleans. With the 18T sprocket the bike is extremely smooth 75-80 mph (about 4000 rpm). That's where I stayed most of the time but did run around 90 for short distances. The new SS replacement did great, although as I said before, I like to wear a face shield on my helmet on long trips. It cuts down on wind and noise not to mention helping during the rain I went through.

I'll reiterate again, anyone that has the Triumph Summer Screen and it is too short for them - you need to check out this screen. It looks just as good, works great for riders up to 6' and fits easily on the factory mounts. If you contact Clearview Shields to get one, remind them it is the more narrow one (2nd prototype) they made for Bob. They'll know what you are talking about.
