I've had more time to evaluate the Clearview screen. There is slightly more deflected wind (probably due to size) that comes under the screen and over the tank to my sides. As I said before, there is buffeted wind off the top and upper sides but not as head shaking as the stock one. At 6' I'm probably at the limit for this 17" screen as the buffeted wind hits above the visor of my helmet. This would probably be ideal for riders in the 5'8-5'11" range.

It looks really good on the bike and I plan to sit tight awhile. I would still highly recommend this replacement for anyone that already has the Triumph Summer Screen and needs a larger replacement. If you have to buy the hardware and the screen it would get as pricey as the WindVest and there are other screens that may work for less that include mounting hardware. As a SS replacement, it is a very good deal and excellent quality.

Next month I'm taking a 500 mile trip and I'll be able to really tell how well it does on extended highway riding. But, I'll probably still use a helmet shield to cut down wind noise and increase comfort. The great part is being able to ride without the helmet shield which was VERY uncomfortable with the stock one.
