Really had to ponder this statement...almost wanted to quote Forest Gump but you are correct. It is a choice and would obviously be wrong to conclude that not wearing a helmet implies stupidity. I am tempted to say they are lacking wisdom but I don't think that is right. oh well.
I feel sorry for Ben and his close friends and family and am glad he survived.
I frequently think about my friends reasoning for wearing a helmet is that he doesn't want to end up talking to his young daughter through wired teeth.
