Just back a little while ago. It was good to meet some new faces (Jim, John, Zeek) and some old ones, Martyn And the regulars of course Grzegorz, Paul, Nobby, Gina, Simon. Funny how it always seems to be the same ones showing up! There's GOTTA be more UK riders out there .... *tumbleweed blows past* ... hellooooooo .... nuthin! Good day. Great weather. Crap coffee. Ok guys, get postin' the pics. I know we didn't take many but let the world know it's sometimes sunny over here Hey Grzegorz, the 'phone pic came out and I'm trying to work out how to get it off the 'phone onto here! See y'all next weekend at the Farmyard!! Brink ya drinking livers with you!

http://simonr.fotopic.net/c988024.html
It's taking me a while to upload them, so there will be more to come if you're looking at this before I've finished There'll be 36 photos when they're all there.
Nice to meet everyone, and really looking forward to next weekend - let's hope the weather holds.

Just got home....
As me and Sue (rides a TT600) got there later than everyone else, we left later...but we both had a good day.
By the time Sue had finished faffing...we left Bristol at around 10.45. So going up, we took the short quick route -straight up the M4. got there ok. No real problems. Met up with the guys, they left. Had a wander round. Rode back. We went A40, M40, round Oxford and on the other side the A420 was closed. Got sent round a diversion - well a policeman said take this road and turn right at the traffic lights. The traffic lights were 5 miles down the road... Anyway found my way back to the M4 and came home. I'm really tired. My knees hurt but fun was had all the same. If I go again though...I'd go by train. It's a good ride but a little too long. The trip's reading 244 miles and I did around 5 miles before resetting it. But on the America....it's probably better!!!! I may have to ride up again, just so she's been there.
Something to eat now...
PS I saw another girlie rider on an America!!! However she was riding away, and so I couldn't harass her into joining here...
PPS Sue thinks you're all nice guys...if slightly mad. She has decided that's why I spend time with you...

Hey Simon, are the pictures uploaded, downloaded, whateverloaded yet?
All I get is the file name and no clickable links. Should there be thumbnails of the pics?

The link worked for me....and all the pics were there...
Oh and my face hurts. I put some sun cream on before leaving. However 9 hours later.....it's slightly red. And not because I'm embarassed.

Just wanted to say I had a great day out and a good ride, It was good to meet you all, and thanks for making me feel welcome. The only bad thing is that I have now seen lots of bright shiny add ons that I want to get, and so I'm gonna be a bit broke for a while.

I'm resisting.....
But today I decided that at some point after the MOT (due July) I'm getting loud exhausts. That may just mean someone taking a baffle out, as I like the look of the long slash cut pipe, or finding good but cheap new ones...
But my bike is too quiet!

Hi Gina, it was nice to meet you. I agree about the pipes. I listened to some with the TOR and some of the guys as they went by and I MUCH prefer the drilled out sound. I think the longer pipe gives the deeper tone. I think I will get brave and start to drill. I just will have to pick a weekend my wife is away. If she saw me taking a drill to my new bike...........it would not be pretty.

I have a spare set of standard Speedmaster exhausts (not the slash cuts, the tapered ones). I bought a spare set before I started to drill mine, and then picked up another set at a good price. I want to keep one set for MOT time, but if anyone wants the other set drop me a PM.
They're in very good condition (I'd guess at 2 or 3000 miles use, but you're bound to find the odd small scratch if you inspect them).
I'd sell them for £35 (plus postage if reqd - estimate an extra £10). Sorry, but UK only - I dread to think how much they'd cost to post overseas.
